Back in 2010 with the help of our friends and colleagues alike we shot “the Black Ivy” Editorial at CITY College in Harlem, NY. We ventured out on the campus without much permission from the school/faculty, but pretty much armed with an idea that we wanted to make happen. Fast forward 2 1/2 years later — multiple definitions on what the editorial actually meant outside of the clothing/style aspect of it and hundreds of bow tie/penny loafer references later we decided to commemorate the editorial with small pieces to start.
We gathered a few of our friends and alumni from the editorial to shoot them in their element while sporting the B.I T-shirts. We teamed up with the Brooklyn Circus to make this happen, they’re stocking the merch in both their SF/BK stores.
